Small Caps Generator

Convert text to ꜱᴍᴀʟʟ ᴄᴀᴘɪᴛᴀʟꜱ, ᵗⁱⁿʸ ᵗᵉˣᵗ and other minimal styles. The clean end of the aesthetic spectrum: subtle enough for a professional bio, distinctive enough to stand out.

Why small caps read so well

Small caps keep the geometry of capital letters at the visual weight of lowercase, typography's oldest trick for headers that feel formal without feeling loud. The Unicode versions here (ᴀ ʙ ᴄ ᴅ…) come from phonetic alphabet blocks and enjoy some of the widest device support of any styled text: they render correctly on virtually every phone, which makes them the safest choice for usernames and gaming display names.

Tiny text (ᵗⁱⁿʸ) is its playful sibling: superscript characters that shrink your words to whisper size. A popular combo: name in small caps, tagline in tiny text, one decorative symbol from the cute fonts page. Minimal, layered, done.

Frequently asked questions

What are small caps?
Uppercase-shaped letters at lowercase height, ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴛʜɪꜱ. The characters come from Unicode’s phonetic alphabet blocks, so they paste as plain text anywhere. Designers love them because they read as "quietly formal".
What is tiny text?
Superscript characters (ᵗⁱⁿʸ ᵗᵉˣᵗ), originally added to Unicode for phonetics and math. It’s the smallest readable text style you can paste into a bio.
Why is there no small-caps letter for every character?
Unicode never added a complete matching set: a few letters (like q and x) borrow their closest lookalike. Our mapping uses the most compatible choice for each letter, and anything unmappable passes through unchanged.
Do small caps work in usernames?
In display names, usually yes. Small caps are among the most widely supported styled characters. In strict @handle fields, no: those accept plain letters only.
Are small caps easier for screen readers than other styles?
Slightly: some screen readers handle phonetic characters better than math-alphabet styles, but they are still not read reliably. Keep essential info in plain text.
